Dr. Yehia Abdelwahed

Dr. Abdelwahed has been practicing Nephrology in Palm Beach since 2013. After completing Internal Medicine residency at the University of Miami – Palm Beach Campus, he achieved his nephrology fellowship from Jackson’s Memorial.

With a Board Certification in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology and with a special interest in treatment and prevention of progression of chronic kidney disease and hypertension, he has been working to help promote kidney care in the community.

Dr. Abdelwahed has a special interest in teaching and is affiliated with the University of Miami residency program, preparing the next generation of physicians for our community.

Our nephrology division is proud to be collaborating with the advanced heart failure and the cardiothoracic teams at JFK Medical Center to provide top-quality care for the most complicated medical cases with referrals spanning other counties around palm beach.
